A 17th Century & Later Carved Oak Full Tester Bed. The tester composed of twelve panels in a moulded framework edged with nulled rails and raised on a panelled head board and twinned-baluster turned foot posts above square legs united by a twin panel foot board with rope holes drilled along the base rail. The panelled head board carved with nulling to the top, two tiers of lunettes above three decorative lozenge carved panels and two plain panels to the base. The carved panels enhanced by ornamental moulding blocks applied to the borders, flanked by incised and punch-worked muntins. 73” (185 cm) high, 52¼” (133 cm) wide, 86½” (220 cm) in length.
