[Her father was John 2nd Baronet Maxwell of Pollock House, her mother Barbara Stuart, daughter of the Solicitor General for Scotland; their line going back to the Royal Stuarts and even Robert the Bruce via his daughter Marjorie]. 17½” x 8” (45 cm x 20 cm) excluding the frame.
