The domed scallop-edged cresting rail pierced with a hand-hole to the centre flanked by shell motifs and swans. The back panel with break arch top inscribed CAVENDISH above armorial shield emblazoned with three stags’ heads above a flowering plank framed by a guilloche chain, defined against a recessed pitted ground. The arms on ball turned supports leading down to a similarly turned front legs united by peripheral stretcher to the rear stile supports, (90 cm) high, (38 cm) wide.
