A Fine 18th Century Figured Walnut & Feather-banded Bureau Bookcase of diminutive proportions, good colour & patination. The upper section having a cavetto moulded cornice above a mirror panelled door with bevelled edge and re-entrant upper corners fitted with lock & key enclosing shelves within. The base section having a hinged fall front on loper supports opening to reveal pigeon holes and drawers to the back, with a velvet insert to the flap. The three lip-moulded drawers standing on bracket feet 78¼” (199 cm) high, 26” (66 cm) wide.
