A Fabulous Quality Mid 17th Century Joined Oak Mural Livery Cupboard with parquetry inlay. The stepped two-tier cupboard having a ventilated upper compartment enclosed by two doors with open panels of six turned fruitwood spindles. The top above a carved and dentil-moulded frieze decorated with an undulating trail of foliage and flanked by fask masks either side. The framework inlaid with attractive chequer bands of holly and bog oak. The lower cupboard having an off-set door; the facade enriched with elaborate carving, 34½” (88 cm) high, 29” (74 cm) wide, 12” (30 cm) deep.
