Description
A Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Sideboard/Cabinet. The plum-pudding figured top with break bow front, inlaid with chequer stringing edged with strings of satinwood. The bow fronted door centred by a painted roundel depicting a cherub crowning a nymph with a wreath of roses, one a diagonally grained quarter veneered ground inlaid with stringing. The glazed side doors with curved astrigal glazing bars crested with carved anthemion motifs. Standing on square tapering legs with spade feet 38¾” (98 cm) high, 60” (152.5 cm) wide, 17¾” (45 cm) deep.
