A Small Oak Blanket Box/Chest incorporating 16th century French panelling to the facade with a pair of intricate tracery side panels flanking a small centre panel emblazoned with a row of three heads above fleur de lis. The rectangular chest having a later hinged lid with moulded edge and plinth moulding to the base attached to the stile feet (A/F), 18” (46 cm) high, 37½” (95 cm) in height, 16½” (42 cm) deep.
