The back having a shaped cresting rail carved with foliage and flanked by voluted lobe terminals above a lunette carved upper panel and lozenge carved principal panel in a run moulded frame inlaid with chequer bands. The uprights flanked by scroll-carved spandrels. The arms on turned posts leading to a plank seat with chip carved sides standing on columnar legs united by peripheral stretchers, 48½” (123 cm) high, 23” (58 cm) wide.
