A Fine Early 18th Century Boarded Oak Desk Box. The sloped lid with chip carved sides on hinged butterfly hinges rising to reveal a bank of three internal drawers. The front board ornamented with four moulded roundels encircling carved quatrefoils, and flanking an iron lock-plate. The base with applied edge moulding. 9¾” (25 cm) high, 25” (64 cm) wide, 16½” (42 cm) deep.
