The rectangular glass set in a moulded frame with re-entrant upper corners surmounted by a silhouette cut scroll crested pediment and suspended between square uprights surmounted by small brass urn-shaped finials. The burr figured base inlaid with bands of intricate chequer work stringing within cross-banded borders, and having a sloped fall front on side loper supports, fitted with lock & key enclosing a fitted interior of small drawers and pigeon holes, above a long drawer below. Standing on bun feet 28¼” (72 cm) high, 14” (36 cm) wide, 7½” (19 cm) deep.
