A Rare 18th Century Ash & Elm Windsor Armchair. The twin arched cresting rail above a vase shaped back splat flanked by three long stick spindles either side piercing through the bent ash bow, with four further underarm spindles and shaped end supports reinforced with iron rods. The elm saddle seat morticed through and wedged with cabriole legs terminating on pad feet, 40½” (103 cm) high, the seat 18” (46 cm) high, 22½” (57 cm) wide.
