A Late Georgian Mahogany Pembroke Table. The rippling grained top beautifully faded to a warm honeyed hue, inlaid with satinwood cross-banding outlined in ebony & boxwood strings within a rosewood border. The rounded drop leaves supported on fly brackets. One end fitted with a drawer, the other with corresponding faux drawer. Standing on square tapering legs enhanced with satinwood stringing leading down to brass castors, 28” (71 cm) high, 31” (79 cm) wide, 18½” (47 cm) deep (leaves down) extending to 39½” (100 cm).
