A Fine Mid 17th Century Oak Box Stool of rich colour & patination. The lid having decorative stepped moulding to the edges and iron staple hinges to the back, above run moulded sides. The front with an incised iron hasp and lock-plate. Standing on turned gun barrel legs with block feet united by peripheral stretchers, 14½” (37 cm) high, 15¼” (39 cm) wide, 14½” (37 cm) deep.
