A George I Figured Walnut Dressing Mirror. The bevelled glass plate in a moulded frame with re-entrant ogee shaped upper corners, suspended between tapering uprights with turned finials. The burr figured base inlaid with feather banding within cross-banded borders housing a sloped fall-front compartment enclosing a fitted interior centred by a small cabinet arch-niched door flanked by pigeon holes over stepped drawers, above a long base drawer with partitioned interior beneath a moulded facade with drop handles, 37½” (95 cm) high, 18” (46 cm) wide, 13” (33 cm) deep.
