A Small 19th Century French Boullework Clock stamped Japy Frères Medaille d’Or and ROLLIN À PARIS 2485 with corresponding numbers to the back of the ornately engraved pendulum. The relief cast dial inset with porcelain numeral cartouches and housed in a balloon case of red ‘tortoiseshell’ veneer enriched with engraved foliate scrolls of brass inlay and having decorative gilt metal mounts with a cherub sat atop the pediment, 16” (41 cm) high.
