The richly carved rectangular back having a rail of linked arabesque scrolls above a panel depicting a knot garden outlined in guilloche strap-work containing stylised roses and honeysuckle to the reserves defined again a pitted ground. The arms on cannon barrel turned posts leading down to a replacement seat on turned conforming legs. 38½ in (92 cm) high, 22 in (56 cm) wide.
