Each having a rectangular padded back and seat re-covered with crewel fabric chain-stitched in coloured wools with reeds and flowers on a linen ground and edged with green braid. The scroll end arms resting on ball & reel turned supports above decoratively turned legs united by turned front stretchers and conforming H-form under-stretchers, 42½” (108 cm) high, 23½” (60 cm) wide.
