A Late 17th Century Joined Oak Coffer. The twin plank lid with two incised border lines and a moulded edge. The frieze rail carved with foliate lunettes alternated with wrythen whorls on stalks defined against a recessed pitted ground. The panels chip carved with whorls and leafy lozenge banded motifs flanked by channel moulded muntins and stiles; with punchwork zigzagging to the channels, 29 in (73.5 cm) high, 50 in (127 cm) wide, 21½ in (54.5 cm) deep.
