The scroll end, shaped back, sprung seat and cylindrical bolster covered in a navy ground fabric woven with cream repeated foliate designs and edged with braid. The scroll having a carved facade decorated with a section of wrythen reeds and leading down to a moulded seat rail standing on turned legs with brass castors, headed by carved paterae, 38½” (98 cm) high, 78” (198 cm) in length, 28” (71 cm) deep.
