A Cabriole-legged Comb-back Windsor Armchair. The humped top rail with upturned lobe terminals above nine long stick spindles piercing a bent ash arm bow with four further underarm spindles; two either side, and curved silhouette cut plank end supports to the pad arms. The elm seat with incised edging line, standing on cabriole legs with pierced spandrels to the top and pad feet, united by a crinoline stretchers, 39” (100 cm) high, the seat 17” (43 cm) high, 26” (66 cm) wide.
