The small convex enamel dial marked with a ring of blue Roman numerals counting the hours encircled by Arabic five minute counters, and set in a round fluted case festooned in fruiting foliate garlands and surmounted by the figure of a dancing Bacchanal signed on base ‘Devaulx’, 19½ in (50 cm) high.
