The fold-over top with rounded corners and a border band of undulating foliate scrolls displayed within panels of brass inlay and framed by brass stringing. The top revolving to access a frieze compartment and folding over to reveal a green baize playing surface. The frieze centred by a small break front panel of brass inlay, standing on a turned centre column leading down to a quadriform platform raised on lobed ball feet, 29½” (75 cm) high, 36” (92 cm) wide.
