The rush nip having a hinged jaw counter-weighted by a horizontal arm bearing a candle cup to the end, on a wrythen stem driven through the oval saddle top of the treen base, raised on four round turned legs and retaining traces of residual paintwork. 15” (38 cm) high, 9½” (24 cm) long, 6¼” (16 cm) deep.
