A 19th Century Rosewood Pole Screen. The glazed oval screen embroidered in wools with sprays of blossom in a wreath of edelweiss & foliage tied in a bow to the base. The screen sliding up and down a gilt brass pole with finial surmount. The base having a turned stem capped with intricately cast gilt brass collars above a beaded triform base raised on winged pied de biche mounted terminals, 60” (152 cm) in height.*
