The pierced cresting rail intricately carved with putti bearing a wreath of flowers to the centre above voluted foliate S-scrolls coiled around rosettes. The scroll end arms on barley twist supports leading down to the caned seat in a carved frame raised on turned and swept foliate legs united by a pierced front rail carved with leaves and a coronet to the centre, above a barley twist H-form under-stretcher, 46½” (118 cm) high, the seat 14” (36 cm) high, 24” (61 cm) wide.
