Description
A Pair of 17th Century Carved Ornamental Columns. The multi scroll crested capitals surmounting wrythen fluted stems; each spiralling down to a broad frieze band carved with exuberant scrolls of renaissance style husk flowers and foliage and incorporating caryatid figures bearing urns of cascading garlands upon their heads. The columns mounted on on square block plinths edged with beading and carved with cherub heads and foliage, 51½” (131 cm) high.
