A 19th Century Hoop Back Windsor Armchair of modest proportions. The back hoop framing eight long spindles piercing the central elm section of the three part arm bow, with two further short spindles and bent ash end supports either side beneath the fruitwood arms. The elm seat on turned legs united by a turned H-form stretcher, 40” (102 cm) high, 22½” (57 cm) wide, the seat 17” (43 cm) in height.
