A 19th century Limoges Enamel Plaque depicting a three quarter length portrait of a seated female saint wearing a striped turban and billowing coloured foil robes, her face and neck painted in flesh tones on a monochrome sepia background with architectural arch pillar and clouds beyond, highlighted with gilding. The cushion front plaque in an intricately cast brass surround mounted on an amboyna frame, 7¼” x 6” (18 cm x 15 cm).
