A 17th Century Style Carved Oak Full Tester Bed incorporating some period elements. The head board having three lozenge carved upper panels with applied pendant garlands and cherubs swathed in vine to the divides, above three plain base panels. The tester composed of three lozenge panels to the head section and three rows of two further panels centred by foliate designs in a chip carved frame enhanced with punch-work. The turned foot posts with block knops carved with rosettes above square base sections, 79” (201 cm) high, 81” (2206 cm) in length, 52” (132 cm) wide.
