A Fine William & Mary Carved Walnut Armchair with caned back & seat, of good colour & patination. The tall caned back having twin arch-topped panels in a moulded frame surmounted by a pierced cresting rail carved with foliage; the voluted terminals above turned uprights. The moulded outswept scroll-end arms on turned posts above scrolling legs united by a pierced front rail and shaped under-stretcher centred with a turned finial, 54” (137 cm) high, 25” (64 cm) wide.
