Two 19th Century Dutch Brass Bound Bentwood Measures. The 5 & 10 Litre iron-rimmed cylindrical vessels with rivetted side seams, bound with brass border straps and branded ‘1 NED SCHEPEL DECALITRE’. , and ‘5 NED KOP 5 LITRE’, with the alphabet and numbers stamped below the rim bands. The larger measure 9½” (24 cm) high, 9¾” (25 cm) in diameter, the smaller 7½” (19 cm) high, 8” (20 cm) in diameter.
