A Pair of Late 17th/18th Century Wrought Iron Fire Dogs. The square section stems with spit hooks to the back, kinked to the top and terminating with pommel finials. The fronts mounted with shield shaped cartouches, above down-swept legs, 16½” (42 cm) high, 8½” (21.5 cm) wide, 10” (26 cm) deep.
