The ‘conversation piece’ capturing the sitters in a relaxed, domestic setting sat either side of a table with books, 25” x 30” (64 cm x 76 cm). Set in an ornamental gilt frame with sprays of foliage adorning the corners and centre points, 30” x 35” (76 cm x 89 cm).
