An 18th Century Black Lacquered Box of rectangular form having a slightly cushion moulded top decorated in raised lacquers and gilding with a romantic couple and sheep sat in a fenced area in front of a tiled structure, framed by a border garland of pink roses and gilt scrolls. The sides decorated with gilded floral sprays, 4” (10 cm) high, 10¾” (27 cm) wide, 7½” (19 cm) deep.
