The well patinated mortar having a broad flared rim and double moulded base with inset foot, 6¾” (17 cm) high, 8¾” (22 cm) in diameter, with a 11¾” (30 cm) long pestle. The stand enhanced with ring moulding to the waist and having facetted studs adorning the top and base, 9½” (24 cm) high, 6¾” (17 cm) in diameter.
