The oval glass set in an open carved surround adorned with opulent scrolls of crested acanthus and surmounted by a cherub’s head crowned in a laurel wreath and emitting fanned rays, with pendant garlands of flowers hanging down either side, 21½” x 16” (55 cm x 40 cm).
