The cresting rail centred by a crescent of fanned reeding adorned with scroll crests and turned pendant finials above a bobbin turned back rail flanked by scroll topped uprights adorned with split spindle appliqués. The planked recessed seat in a raised frame to retain a swab cushion. The front legs with two stumpy baluster turnings alternated with block sections, united by low peripheral stretchers with additional stretchers to the sides, 41 in (104 cm) high, 19¼ in (49 cm) wide.
