Description
A Decorative Tulipwood Veneered Secrètaire Cabinet with diagonally grained quarter veneers adorned with porcelain and gilt metal mounts. The upper section with tassel & drape beading to the canted top over two doors with recessed quatrefoil panels centred by Sèvres style cherub plaques above two side drawers. The lower section housing a fall-front secrètaire drawer to the frieze above two further doors embellished with oval porcelain flower plaques to the recessed panels, caryatid mounts to the canted corners and rococo scroll adornments to the sides, 56” (142 cm) high, 32 (82 cm) wide, 16¼” (41 cm) deep.
