A Pair of Fine 18th Century Porcelain Chestnut Dishes with Pierced Covers and matching Stands probably Worcester. The oval quatrefoil vessels decorated with repeated flower heads on a moulded honeycomb ground and having branch-form handles sprouting flowers & foliage enhanced with coloured enamels. The pierced lids surmounted with scrolling twig handles encrusted with flowers. The base dishes painted with bouquets to the centre. 6” (15 cm) high, 9” x 7½” (23 cm x 19 cm).
