A Set of Eight Carved Golden Oak Dining Chairs & a Matching Armchair decorated in the Charles II Style. The padded backs and sprung seats covered in a buff basket-weave fabric edged with brass studs. The pierced back frames carved with a pair of entwined vine branches to the cresting rails and grapes and foliage to the sides, flanked by barley-twist uprights surmounted by finials. The barley-twist legs united by similarly turned stretchers. The carver having voluted scroll arm terminals enriched with acanthus. 49¼” (125 cm) high, 26½” (67 cm) wide. The side chairs 42½” (108 cm) high, 19” (48.5 cm) wide.
