Description
A Large & Imposing Golden Oak Refectory Table in the 16th Century Style. The long three plank top resting on an elaborately decorated base with a marquetry frieze interspersed with break-front blocks emblazoned with relief carved winged angel heads above a gadrooned edge enhanced with leafy flourishes. The six bulbous cup & cover legs ornamented with reeding, a band of carved jewel-work and foliate carved C-scrolls, leading down to reeded quadriform feet and united by peripheral block stretchers, 30¾” (78 cm) high, 35” (89 cm) wide, 108” (274 cm) in length.
