Two Framed Theatrical Costume Design Sketches: The largest for ‘Eleanor’ in ‘The Great Hall’ from the musical; ‘Thomas & The King’; executed in pencil, watercolour wash and gold crayon on paper with a collage crown and fabric samples attached, inscribed, signed and dated ’75 lower right, 16” x 23” (41 cm x 58.5 cm), mounted in a glazed gilt frame 23” x 29¾” (58.5 cm x 75.5 cm). The smaller in pencil and watercolour inscribed ‘Cleo Lane as Julie Act 1 Showboat, Aldephi Theatre 71, signed lower right T Goodchild 71. 8½” x 4” (21 cm x 10 cm), mounted and framed 14½” x 9¾” (37 cm x 25 cm).
