A 17th Century Style Inlaid Oak Collector’s Cabinet on Stand. The upper section having a moulded top above a dog-tooth carved frieze over two geometrically moulded doors inlaid with bands of parquetry chequer-work. The doors opening to reveal a fitted interior with various drawers surrounding canopied centre compartment; the drawer fronted with run-moulded borders and small brass ring handles on lion mask mounts. The base section having two chequer inlaid bulge front drawers, standing on three turned & inlaid front legs united to the rear square legs by peripheral stretchers and terminating on five bun feet, 57¾” (147 cm) high, 36” (91.5 cm) wide, 25” (64 cm).
