A Slender Directoire Style Mahogany & Brass Mounted Escritoire. The white marble top having a pierced gallery rail above an upper frieze drawer, hinged fall front escritoire and three drawers below. The panelled drawer fronts and escritoire facade edged with brass trim and fitted with angular brass swing handles on hexagonal mounts, flanked by integrated stop-fluted corner columns leading down to the turned toupee feet. The interior fitted with shelves and banks of small drawers to the back with a tooled leather insert to the flap. 53” (135 cm) high, 19½” (49 cm) wide, 13” (33 cm) deep.
