Each chair having a dome-topped back in moulded & carved ribbon-twist frame crested by a sprig of roses enriched with vivid gilding. The arms having padded elbow rests and parcel gilt sprays of acanthus to the terminals above downswept supports leading to stop fluted legs embellished with gilt paterae, 38½” (98 cm) high, 23” (59 cm) wide.
