Description
A Fine 19th Century Giltwood Settee of generous proportions. The upholstered back, sides and seat covered in grey/blue damask fabric edged with braid and furbished with sumptuous seat and back cushions with roll bolsters either side, covered in floral brocade edged with piping. The frame having a slightly domed top with gadrooned cresting rail and wrythen fluted baluster posts to the front leading down to the seat rail of carved lappets and four paterae heading the turned wrythen fluted legs, 36” (91.5 cm) high, 84” (213 cm) wide, 35½” (90 cm) deep.
