A Fine Quality 19th Century Baluster Vase. One side painted with oval fête champêtre cartouche surrounded by a raised gilt border intricately detailed with trelliswork, bullrushes and scrollwork festooned in garlands of flowers on a white glazed ground. The gilded embellishments continued to the other side. The handles modelled as mythical creatures with scrolling tails and foliate crested bodies enriched with tiny gilt dotted markings and bearing rings in their mouths. 15” (38 cm) in height.
