A Rare Long 17th Century Upholstered Settee: The padded back, sides, seat, swab cushion and round end bolsters covered in sky blue velvet with a long continuous panel of tapestry applied to the back and sides, woven with birds amongst fruit, flowers and foliage fringed in tassels. The seat rail drilled with rope holes and interspersed with punchwork embellishments. Standing on six ball & fillet turned legs united by similarly turned stretchers, 83 cm high, 214 cm long, 79 cm deep (32¾” h. 84” l. 31” d.)
