A Pair of Late 19th Century Carved Giltwood Chairs in the Louis XVI Style. The upholstered backs and sprung seats covered in an ochre sculpted velvet fabric edged with braid. The framed having arched, foliate crested top rails centred by shell motifs with leafy flourishes to the seat rails and pendant bell flower chains adorning the square tapering legs, headed by voluted capitals and terminating on wooden castors. 41” (104 cm) high, 21½” (55 cm) wide.
