The relief carving depicting one of the Stations of the Cross featuring Jesus crowned in thorns being stripped of his clothes by Roman Soldiers, with dice on the ground symbolising the casting of lots to decide their division. Originally painted, retaining faint traces of residual polychrome. 27” (69 cm) high, 24½” (62 cm) wide, 4” (10 cm) deep.
